Soprano Andréanne Brisson-Paquin agreed to replace soprano Suzie LeBlanc

Soprano Andréanne Brisson-Paquin will be on stage for the concert “From the court of Louis XIV to Shippagan” this Thursday, July 7, at 7:30 p.m. She agreed to replace soprano Suzie LeBlanc who was forced to cancel her participation to the concert for health reasons. Suzie is very sorry to miss Thursday’s concert and our team wishes her a speedy recovery.

Hailed for her generous stage presence and expressive voice, Andréanne is equally devoted to several different musical genres, singing baroque, classical, operatic or contemporary repertoire with the same commitment, rigour, and excitement. She has won national and international prizes and completed her vocal studies at Université de Montréal and a Master’s degree in the Netherlands at Conservatorium van Amsterdam. She is visiting us for a second time at the Festival after performing as a soloist in Monteverdi's Vespers in 2017.
